Deirdre O’Brien is a Marin, California, native and second-generation REATOR who grew up in Mill Valley. Since becoming a real estate professional in 2015, Deirdre has found that helping buyers and sellers along their journey is the most rewarding career she has had. Making a positive difference in people’s lives drives her to give 110% to her clients.

Deirdre began working at a young age, which gave her a great work ethic. Her tenacious attitude has allowed her to always go the extra mile for clients, and that’s still her ethos today. After attending the University of California, Santa Barbara, Deirdre was in sales and marketing for 25 years. Her vast experiences have given her strong communication and negotiation skills and the drive to exceed clients’ expectations.

Bringing a local’s perspective to property transactions in the Marin area, Deirdre and her team, Team O’Brien, are consistently ranked among the top 2% to 3% of all Marin County agents. Averaging 25 to 40 transactions per year means she is extremely well networked with other agents and always has access to off-market opportunities. Also, she is forever ready to jump into action for her clients, which is extremely important in this competitive market. Above all, Deirdre always has her client's best interests at heart while helping them navigate the Marin County property market.

Deirdre and her husband and business partner, David, have two children who are heading into their teens. And while her passion is truly the fast-paced market of real estate, she is continually drawn to help animal shelters in need of support. In addition, she volunteers with various organizations that help women who are working to rebuild their lives. When she finds spare time, Deirdre enjoys hiking and mountain biking in Marin County’s beautiful Mount Tamalpais area. She also enjoys cultivating beauty at home by tending to her garden.
